Electronic Arts’ (EA) latest offering from the Battlefield series, Battlefield: Hardline will be available to Xbox One users early due to EA Early Access program for Microsoft consoles. EA Access is Xbox One exclusive, so that gives Xbox owners with a subscription to EA’s service a leg up on PC and PlayStation 4 players.
The official Twitter account of the game has confirmed the news saying the XOne players will get to play the full game for free for a few days in advance.
Since the Early Access is only available for six hours over the course of four days, players have only a little time to enjoy the games on the whole. The game progress can be transferred once you purchase the game.
EA had planned to launch Access on both the new generation consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One), but Sony denied the offer citing the reason: “service did not offer good value” to PlayStation fans. EA Access costs around $5 or Rs 300 per month or $30 for the year.
Battlefield: Hardline is being developed by Visceral Games in collaboration with EA Digital Illusions CE and has many new game modes which include: heist, rescue, hotwire mode, blood money and crosshair mode.
Battlefield: Hardline is scheduled to launch on 17 March.
