Xbox India head, Anshu Mor is parting ways to form his own company. The news comes via his Twitter handle.

Anshu was part of Microsoft for 11 years and served in various roles at the company. He joined the company in 2004 from MCI (Verizon) and joined as the strategic business manager, and moved to mastering different roles in the company leading up to his Xbox stint which started in 2011. His responsibility as the Director – Interactive Entertainment Business (Xbox) was to launch Kinect for the Xbox 360 in India and the Xbox One as well. He was also the brains behind making Xbox One an Amazon India exclusively. There is still no word yet on who is going to replace him.
