Toon Boom Animation will be showcasing its industry leading all-in-one animation software tool at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2015 in San Francisco from 4 to 6 March. This is the 5th consecutive year that the company’s R&D group will be participating in the international gathering that allows developers the opportunity to share ideas and together build the future of the industry.
Toon Boom Harmony enables animators to create 2D game art and animations for multiplatform games. GDC attendees will learn about Harmony’s full-feature set for drawing, its flexible 2D rigging for animation, and how Harmony provides developers with a Unity game object component for seamless game integration. Toon Boom Harmony fully integrates with Unity, the industry’s most popular game engine.
“Developers attending GDC and who stop by the Unity booth will learn how to use Harmony to create, animate and export reusable, lightweight animation into the Unity game engine,” says Toon Boom, CTO, Francisco Del Cueto.
Toon Boom, Team Lead of Gaming, Frederic Bouchard will be participating in a 30-minute session on Thursday, 5 March at the Unity stage. In this presentation, Bouchard will discuss how Toon Boom Harmony can be used by artists and animators to create 2D game art. Game developers will learn how integration of Toon Boom Harmony with Unity for the development of multiplatform 2D games can be done at ease.
