On 1 May, Technicolor will receive the Hollywood Arts Council ‘Industry Founders Award’ at the 29th Annual Charlie Awards, at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The Charlie Awards recognises companies that are making significant cultural contributions to the Hollywood community.
The ‘Industry Founders’ Award has only been accorded three times previously; Hollywood Arts Council executive director, Shauna McClure said: “The Hollywood Arts Council is thrilled to be honoring Technicolor’s enduring legacy with a Charlie Award. After all, where would we be without Technicolor? The brand is synonymous with Hollywood and we are excited to celebrate Technicolor’s contribution to the industry and community we love.”
Technicolor CMO, Sandra Carvalho will receive the award on behalf of the company. “Technicolor is very proud of its long association with the Hollywood community,” stated Carvalho. “What better way to start celebrating our 100th year anniversary than with this wonderful Industry Founders Award from the Hollywood Arts Council.”
