Seems like the Suicide Squad director, David Ayer has compensated well for the recent gig he played on the internet dropping a fake Jared Leto’s incarnation of the Joker. With no jokes around this time, David tweeted the first official look at the entire Task Force X, aka Suicide Squad.
Here’s the first shot from Warner Bros.’ anticipated tent-pole, Suicide Squad starring the bandwagon of antiheroes from the DC universe. Starting from the left we have in costume Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara down in front as the masked Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.
With special attention to Will Smith’s Death Shot, David also tweeted a solo image of the sharp-shooter with his comic signature laser-eye attached to his mask. Suicide Squad is slated for 5 August 2016 and will be DC Comics’ first venture featuring antiheroes as lead. While Marvel has been dominating the superhero saga on the silver screen, DC seems to have taken the lead announcing Suicide Squad while Sony Entertainment merely had their own Anti-hero squad, The Sinister Six in the pipeline following the events of The Amazing Spiderman 2. However with the recent reshuffling of the Spiderman franchise between Sony and Marvel Studios, Sinister Six has taken a back seat allowing DC to take the lead in the race of bringing anti-heroes to the silver screen.

DC’s Suicide Squad also known as the Task Force X are a team of super-villains incarcerated and expendable to the US government undertaking high-risk missions in exchange for commuted prison sentences. After a lot of speculation, Will Smith personifies the master assassin Death Shot with a sullen look in his body-armored costume. Also the white mask makes him look straight out of the DC comics strips.
To fans’ excitement, Arkham Asylum’s Joker and Harley Quinn too team up with Task Force X bringing Batman’s arch nemesis, the Joker back to the big screen with Jared Leto playing the psychotic master criminal.
Also citing some of the viral rumors, Ben Affleck’s Batman from Batman v Superman – Dawn of Justice will be making an appearance in the upcoming Suicide Squad after fans caught sight of the American actor on the sets of Suicide Squad.
