India’s only comedy general entertainment channel (GEC) Sab TV has decided to showcase its popular characters by unveiling the print version of its popular Sab Ke Comics at Comic Con Mumbai. The print edition, published by Pepper Script Publishing, will be available for sale for Rs 100 each.

The new issues 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 will be revealed on 19 December amidst Rani Pari – Sudeepa Singh and Dev Joshi aka Baal Veer, children’s favourite superhero who will be a part of the launch. The Sab TV stall will be visited by other Sab actors for the three days of the event.

Sab and Pepper Script believe that Comic Con will be the perfect platform to exhibit the comic characters to readers and fans. It has till now only been digital, on the website and on the app.

The comics are usually three frame and in Hindi. The popular shows that have been turned into comics on the app are Jeanie aur Juju, Chidiya Ghar, FIR, RK Laxman ki Duniya, Lapatganj, Golmaal etc. About 100 comic strips can be viewed on the app without an internet connection as well.  The best/favourite joke can also be printed through a WiFi printer.
