Real Estate company Square Yards has recently acquired the creative design studio Oryden Tech Labs to use more of animation and virtual design in an effort to revolutionise the face of real estate in India. The entire team of Oryden Tech Labs, an Ahmedabad based studio, will join Square Yards Consulting Pvt. Ltd., a real estate aggregator and concentrate only on real estate henceforth.
Speaking exclusively to AnimationXpress.com, Oryden founder Keyur Bhalavat said, “It is a complete takeover and we will now function under Square Yards. We will work on various projects and expand our genre of animation venturing into architectural design, industrial design, holographic projections and 3D visualisation.”
Oryden will also focus on scapes, an e-commerce transaction engine, from Square Yards. It will introduce advanced versions of digital walkthroughs so that users don’t have to confine themselves to a predefined walkthrough plans as digital walkthrough and virtual reality is Oryden’s forte.
Founded by Keyur Bhalavat and Ravi Patel, Oryden Labs began as a 3-D architectural design studio and soon ventured into other design services like industrial process design and virtual reality setups for products and buildings.
As the digital market is increasing, Square Yards aims to connect people to the real estate property not physically but virtually. In short, there will be no need to personally go and check the architectural design of various properties but with the help of the neat animation techniques of Oryden and the wide reach of Square Yards, all the designs will be displayed on the web.
