Entertainment One Unveils New Partners, Marketing Initiatives for Skelanimals

Entertainment One Licensing (eOne) has revealed details of its long term strategy for lifestyle brand Skelanimals, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2016.

As part of an exciting media strategy, the company has two-minute-long shorts in production and due for delivery Spring 2015.  Newly refreshed website and social media platforms are set to launch in the latter part of 2014 with interactive features that will act as a ‘hub’ for fans’ online experience.

The brand is also stepping up its fashion program through exciting new collaborations with key pop-culture partners including Iron Fist, Tripp NYC, Loungefly, and Goodie Two Sleeves for a range of apparel and accessories targeted to the boutique and specialty markets which have been central to Skelanimals’ success.

Licensee Iron Fist is known for edgy contemporary styles, inspired by street art and underground culture that have attracted legions of alternative fashion customers around the world.  The Skelanimals collection will include fashion tops and bottoms, blouses, sweaters and coats, dresses, jumpsuits, and footwear. “The Skelanimals brand and eOne’s creative vision for it really resonated with our team, and we’re tremendously excited about this collaboration,” said Iron Fist CEO Travis Anderson.

The Skelanimals capsule collection from Tripp NYC features hoodies and fashion separates by renowned designer Daang Goodman, who has infused the collection with her signature blend of underground rock n’ roll and New York City street style.

eOne has also signed with Goodie Two Sleeves to develop tees and fleece for juniors and young men; the first collection will be previewed at this year’s POOL trade exhibition, which showcases trend-forward styles for the boutique and specialty market. “Skelanimals is an incredible brand with a fresh and distinct point of view and imagery.  The entire Goodie Two Sleeves team looks forward to working on the amazing products that will be developed for Skelanimals in the coming seasons.  We are extremely honored to have this opportunity,” says Goodie Two Sleeves VP – licensing Robert Arce.

New fashion offerings will be complemented by a range of accessories from longtime Skelanimals partner Loungefly, the leader in pop culture accessories, which will produce fashion bags, wallets, coin purses, plush bags, backpack clips, jewelry and novelty items at prices ranging from $6.50 – $65.00.

The collection will launch at MAGIC in August.
