Dawn of the Croods set to take you back in history via Netflix

The pre-historic family is back! DreamWorks Animation’s popular Dawn of the Croods will stream worldwide on Netflix on December 24.

Based on the 3D CG feature, The Croods (2013), that thoroughly entertained the audience with its innovative display of the historic period, this TV series also follows the same principle but in 2D. The series deals with modern-day problems for the first time ever in life’s history, like discovering a best friend, a berry, a pet and a phenomenal adventure! As they are the ‘First family’, even the ‘beginning will have a beginning’!

As the film conveyed the exemplary courage and hope of ‘The Croods’ who never gave up but fought every difficulty with might, the series too revolves around the discovery of new milestones and victory over the same.

Directed by Kirk DeMicco and Chris Sanders and exec produced by Brendan Hay, the series will feature a voice cast of Dan Milano, Cree Summer and Stephanie Lemelin. Also, Saturday Night Live alumni like Chris Parnell, Ana Gasteyer, and Laraine Newman will be a part of the voice cast.

This series has been animated in Korea by EMation, NE4U and Dong Woo Animation and clearly portrays the chaos created during a pre historic period in a humourous way. Besides, the neat 2D animation will give you a feel of the traditional classic The Flintstones. However, Dawn of the Croods has a lot of excitement and creativity which is well conveyed from the trailer itself.
