Christmas is that time of the year when family and friends get together for the festive cheer and to add to that Google has added more joy to family celebration. The tech giant announced that it was rolling out several new titles which were specially designed for TV streamer and will mostly be family entertainers for the season.
The games include the Rovio puzzle game Angry Birds Friends (which lets you compete in weekly tournaments), Driver Speedboat Paradise along with a host of Hasbro board games remastered to be played on the TV. Games like Monopoly Here & Now, Yahtzee Blitz, The Game of Life, Scrabble Blitz 2.0 and Risk.
Available for $35, Chromecast is a quick gift idea for the holiday season and with family games on the fore people can pay them on split-screen, with the main board on the TV and individual can view their cards or tiles on their phones or tablets. Chromecast primarily is used for watching movies and TV shows anyway, but with the content growing for the TV stick, one could not argue what’s more in store from this little Google media device. The games are live on the Chromecast app store and one can download and start right away.
