Cartoon Network has announced a special programming schedule for the month of August to keep the kids indulged during the festivities of this month. The schedule includes a plethora of exclusive episodes and new shows that have been created for these festivities.
Keeping in mind the occasion of Independence day, Cartoon Network will showcase a special segment called ‘Roll No. 21 Happy Independence Day’, which will air on 15 August at 9:00 am onwards. This Independence Day series will show Kris and his friends fighting the evil Kanishk and saving their city.
To celebrate Raksha Bandhan, the special day of love and responsibility between brothers and sisters, a special series called ‘Chal Mere Bhai’ will be broadcasted. This series will portray a sister’s affection for her brother.
Cartoon Network will also be celebrating Lord Krishna’s birthday this Janmashtami, the channel has chalked out a special series for its audience on 18 August at 9:00 am.
Also, a brand new show will be making a debut on the channel this month, ‘Xiaolin Chronicles’. The legendary Xiaolin Monks are back and ready to KungFu kick their way into your hearts and save the world again. Ping Pong, an enthusiastic European apprentice, joins our beloved Xiaolin heroes and their magical dragon on a tight race to collect the powerful SHEN GONG WU talismans. The show will commence on 14 August at 5:30 pm, every Sunday.
