9GAG, a popular meme site has been a daily website for most of the people, developing pop culture memes and with a lot of its meme’s getting cult status. It has released a runner game, Redhead Redemption in which a little girl May has to babysit her younger brother George, while her Mom and Dad are away at work at a secret lab facility.
This is when there is a zombie attack on the siblings, but being a 9GAG game, May straps George on her back with George pulling out guns from his diaper and blasts the blood thirsty zombies.
The game plays similar to Temple Run as you tilt the phone to collect coins and burn the zombies down. The game has a lot in for the 9GAG loyalists, starting and ending with popular memes from the website. The name itself is the play from the website’s obsession with the female redheads. The cute cats show up throughout the plot as level-ups, and can act as helpers which help you through the course of the game. None of this will make sense to you, if you haven’t been useless enough logging onto the website daily to scroll to a point where you say that,”I have seen this yesterday!”
Redhead Redemption is a very average game with nothing really special apart from the jokes that will remind of why you love 9GAG in the first place. Gameplay wise, the game is the usual runner stuff with the same old elements. One can expect a few giggles here and there but ‘nothing to do here’ for a hardcore gamer!
