With the excitement of E3 finally fading, everyone is looking forward to new game releases as June did not have really much to offer in terms of in-hand new content. Although July does not seem to be heavily packed with exciting game releases, here are 10 of them which might intrigue you.
1> Romance of the three Kingdoms XIII: Koei Tecmo had announced the release date of this game a few months back. A version of the game was already on Steam; 5 July will mark the release of the English version of the game. The game promises “deep strategy and historically accurate warfare”. The game reportedly features two modes, a campaign mode and a hero mode that takes players through the mechanics of the game.

2> Rocket League: Collector’s Edition: While the game has been digitally released already, Psyonix and 505 Games had announced that the retail copy would be released on 5 July. The collector’s edition will include the original Rocket League game plus items and cars from its expansion pack. The bundle will consist of all of its three DLC content.

3> Ghostbusters: This game inspired by the movie will be hitting stores on 12 July. Sony Pictures and Activision announced that people who order the Ultimate Bundle will get the new Ghostbusters game by FireForge and a digital copy of the upcoming movie. The code for the digital movie download will be activated sometime in the future after the release of the film. The pack also includes “four classic character suits and a bonus trap” based on art from the original film.

4> Kill Strain: This game is a mutant vs mercenaries PVP game to be released by Sony’s San Diego Studio. It is a team-based team based shooter and will be available to PS Plus members on 12 July and rest of the PS4 users can get access on 19 July.

5> Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS -Force: This action game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment will be released over PS VITA. It will be coming as a digital only copy on 12 July.

6> Batman: Return to Arkham: This game has been rumoured to be the last one in the series and is due to release on 29 July. The reviews of the game show it in quite good light. Let’s see how much this game can attract in terms of consumers as it contains most of its downloadable content if not all.

7> Moon Hunters: Although not a new release as such, but the fantasy themed, action based MMORPG will be making its way to PS4 on 12 July. The game’s story revolves around the fact that the moon fails to rise thus giving scope for monsters to walk free. It allows up to four players in a single session of game lasting up to 45 minutes.

8> I am Setsuna: Square Enix’s small scale project I am Setsuna is set to give you nostalgic moments once you play it. The setting is not as polished as today’s games but it will remind you of early PS RPG play style. It will be releasing on 19 July.

9> ARK: Survival of the Fittest: Again, this action based, dinosaur survival mode game is already present on PC and will be making its way to PS on 19 July. A tournament has also been planned by the developers’ studio, Wildcard.

10> Inside: A game from the Danish indie studio Playdead, the makers of 2010’s Limbo would be coming out on PC on 7 July. The action-adventure puzzle game has received good reviews for its thrilling backdrop and story.
