Whistling Woods School of Animation to organize Max Howard event on November 3, 2010

nullOne amongst India‘s premiere animation schools, Whistling Woods has been an academic & industry hotspot since the day it launched in 2006. Be it workshops by various animation organizations and experts, seminars, events or master classes, Whistling Woods has been in the thick of it. The school is now organizing a exclusive masterclass and workshop by the legendary Max Howard on November 3, 2010.

With credits as Animator / Producer / Executive Producer on several feature films like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Lion King, Beauty & The Beast, Pocahontas, Space Jam amongst others, Max has been associated with 3 of the leading global studios – Disney, Warner Bros & Dreamworks, apart from being experienced as an Independent Feature and Short Producer. This is a unique mix in an individual‘s professional career and shows Max as the excellent professional that he is. Max has his roots in theater and is also a very prolific exponent and evangelist of the creative business of Animation and delivers exclusive master classes and workshops across the world.

nullMax Howard is visiting India in October / November 2010 and during his stay here, will be undertaking an interactive workshop at Whistling Woods International. The workshop will have 2 components:

1. A 3-hour session on ‘How to Create an effective story & Pitch it‘
2. 10 nos one-on-one pitching sessions of 20 minutes each – where attendees who have a story and would like to pitch it to Max to get his feedback can do so.

Max has been at the receiving end of pitches for over 15 years now and would provide keen insight on storyline development, presentation & pitching to the attendees.

This is a must attend for senior & junior artists, freshers and students alike, in fact for anyone who wants to develop their ideas into a proper pitch as well as for those who wish to partake of the vast fount of experience that the legend has. Further, these are not restricted to Animation students / professionals only but are open to students / professionals in the live action filmmaking world too.
