So far in the 3 years since its inception we have had roughly around 94+ people join the club ~

10)Who are the faculty members?
Besides me , there is another assistant potter and a technical guide to help work with clay.

11)Are there different types of courses for different age groups?

Workshops

Our workshops are selected to meet the needs of YellowSpiders Potter’s Club ~™ Members and the broader ceramics community. We offer valuable opportunities to learn new techniques broaden perception and make new friends.

Our Mission
The purpose of the center is to foster a community of ceramic artists and to further public awareness, understanding and appreciation of ceramic arts.

Classes
YellowSpiders Potter’s Club ~™ offers individualized instruction in ceramics, welcoming a diversity of students at all levels of experience. We schedule 12 Sessions of classes each running for 4 weeks and comprising sessions with professional instructors.

YellowSpiders Potter’s Club ~™ studio is open for student practice during regular business hours all days. Each Session concludes with a two-week grace period to ensure all work-in-progress can be completed.

We regret that we are unable to accept students less than 7 years of age.

Absolute Beginners
Never touched clay before? This is the class for you! You will learn the fundamentals of designing, creating and glazing objects in clay that express your individuality. This course includes an overview of the ceramic process and an introduction to hand-building, and glazing techniques.

Two-day pottery workshops
YellowSpiders Potter’s Club ~ offers workshops through a two day program. These two-day, single-project workshops are held in our pottery studio and give an individual the chance to explore their creativity without committing to a class. Participants will design a square, triangular or free-form plate to complement sushi or your favourite comfort food. We will meet on a weekend, and again on the alternate week, from 11am- 2pm.

Parent/Child pottery workshops
Parent/child pottery workshops are structured a little differently and are designed as a joint activity for an adult over 21 and a child who is at least 8. Each “team” works in the studio on two occasions. During the first session we make our projects from wet clay. Two weeks later, we meet again to decorate and glaze our work. In an otherwise drop-off/pick-up world, this workshop offers a chance to be creative, learn and have fun together. The total fee is 1150/- per head and the adult and the child each make their own pottery creations

12)What is the procedure to enroll in the club? Are there any eligibility rules?
You can email or call and confirm your participation by paying an eligible token amount to reserve your seat.

13)What is your teaching methodology?
These courses do not have an ending nor a beginning. The courses just continue for months each year. This allows each student to be instructed one-on-one, with the most recent students getting more intense help, and the more advanced students are instructed as they ask. This allows each student to progress at their own speed. This also allows each class to be a mixed class of new and more advanced students. There is a lot of cross learning and class support for all.

New students can join any class at any time there is room. As attendance is taken during class, the time is flexible. The student can arrive at their most convenient time during each class period and leave when they require. Given that there is room; classes may be changed at any time.

Artists/artisans have their own way of working, and the studio encourages this. Each student is individually taught, and can progress to the stage where they are happier working on their own but being able to be helped when needed.

14)What is your greatest experience so far in potters club?

16)What are your future plans?
Expand YellowSpiders as a one stop solution for any kind of ceramics, pottery solution with the best resources and facilities.
