PT MNC Sky Vision’s Rudy Tanoesoedibjo in conversation with DMG’s Nadav Palti at MIPCOM 2015

MIPCOM has announced that Rudy Tanoesoedibjo, CEO & president director, PT MNC Sky Vision and Nadav Palti, CEO & president, Dori Media Group (DMG), are to deliver a joint Media Mastermind Keynote on Tuesday, 6 October in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals.

The Media Mastermind Keynote is part of the MIPCOM 2015 conference programme ‘A New Creative Excellence.’ MIPCOM, the global entertainment market runs from 5-8 October 2015, in Cannes.

Rudy-Tanoesoedibjo-NadavPaltiTanoesoedibjo and Palti will discuss the opportunities, challenges and future of content and media platforms in Asia, especially in Indonesia which has the fourth largest population in the world and has become the new rising media market in Asia.

With a prominent media background, Bambang Rudijanto “Rudy” Tanoesoedibjo has developed PT MNC Sky Vision, making it the dominant market leader with more than 70 per cent market share in the Indonesian Pay TV market. In addition to serving as CEO & president director of PT MNC Sky Vision, the leading Indonesian Pay TV platform and VP commissioner of PT Global Mediacom, the largest integrated media group in South East Asia, he is also president commissioner of PT MNC asset management and commissioner of PT Global Informasi Bermutu GlobalTV, PT MNC Investama and PT Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia RCTI, the leading Indonesian free to air TV station.

Nadav Palti served as the chairperson of Board of Directors of Dori Media Group (DMG) from December 2002 to September 2004, when he assumed the role of CEO.

Palti started his career in 1987 as an accountant with Ziv Haft Accountants – BDO, one of Israel’s five major accounting firms, becoming a partner in 1993 with responsibility for the consulting division.

In 1999 he and Tamar Mozes Borovitz formed Mapal Communications, a leader in the media and advertising industry in Israel, with diverse holdings, including DMG.

From January 2005 until March 2014, he served as a director of EL-AL Israeli Airlines and is still a director of Knafaim Holdings (EL-AL’s parent company). During this entire period he served as chairman of Risk Management, EL-AL Board Committee, and simultaneously, as Chairman of Finance, Balance Sheet and Budget, El-Al Board Committee.
