left”Today A Squared Elxsi Entertainment LLC (A2E2), a joint venture between A Squared Entertainment and Tata Elxsi Ltd, announces it is developing stories across multiple platforms and formats based on the brand new ‘Stan Lee’s Mighty 7’ comic series which has just hit stores around the world.
‘Stan Lee and the Mighty 7’ introduces Lee’s new group of extra terrestrial super heroes and also sees the creator of Spider-Man and the X-Men, appear alongside his new creations. The deal will see the development of transmedia content based on the new characters that include Strongarm, Laser Lord, High Rise and others, whose powers range from super strength to shrinking ability.
In addition to the production of original animated and live action programming,A2E2 will lead the global licensing program for the property, with new toys, digital and entertainment products, accessories, apparel, books and additional branded merchandise a priority. The deal results from a partnership between A2E2, Lee’s POW! Entertainment and Archie Comics.

A2E2 makes the announcement from this week’s MIP TV 2012 in Cannes, France where it is showcasing a number of other kid’s entertainment properties including Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaires Club, anew animated TV series, co-produced with Xing Xing Digital, where kids learn about business through adventures with Buffett and surprise guests such as Jay-Z, Shaquille O’Neal and Serena Williams.
