Fleet, who has served as VFX Supervisor for the summer smash Under the Dome as well as the complex VFX show, The River, and many other series, has used NUKE in innovative and creative ways. Encore also used NUKE on the pilot for Cinemax’s Banshee, which received an Emmy Award for its visual effects.
“We are thrilled Stephan came here to the UK to speak to our global audience about NUKE at our live streaming event,” says The Foundry’s CEO, Bill Collis. “Encore’s work stands out as a great example of high quality television VFX and is exactly the caliber of work that this latest release of NUKE will be used to create. Stephan has done some fascinating work on recent projects and is the perfect person to explain the benefits of NUKE 8 in a television post production context.”
“I’m honored to have been selected,” says Fleet. “I’ve been a big proponent of NUKE since the early days and look forward to taking advantage of the new feature set in NUKE 8, particularly ‘deep compositing’ capabilities and the color workflow, which is a particularly great fit for shows that do both color and VFX work at Encore.
