Breakthrough Entertainment has secured a major broadcast deal with TV Globo to air the first and second seasons of the animated worldwide-hit series ATOMIC BETTY in Brazil, it was announced today by Breakthrough Entertainment’s agent in Latin America, HOLA Entertainment.

ATOMIC BETTY has been licensed worldwide to major broadcasters in over 120 territories including Cartoon Network (USA, UK, Europe, Asia, Latin America), M6 and Teletoon (France), CiTV (UK), ABC Australia and in association with partner broadcaster TELETOON in Canada. The series also has an extensive off-screen licensing program supporting the series including Warner Home Video, Playmates Toys and Penguin Books.
The series was created by Atomic Cartoons and developed by Breakthrough Animation, and is produced as an official Canada-France co-production by Breakthrough Animation Inc. and Atomic Cartoons with Tele-Images Kids.
ATOMIC BETTY follows the adventures of Betty, a little girl with a big secret. To her friends and family, she’s the sweet and brainy girl next door, but when the galaxy beckons, she sheds her humdrum persona and becomes: “Atomic Betty, Galactic Guardian and Defender of the Cosmos.”
